A brochure is now available to help Rockingham County residents and visitors navigate the arts in the area.
The 18-page brochure includes information on visual and performing arts and heritage crafts. It includes a list of galleries, working studios, annual events, and also highlights major area attractions and location accommodations.
"The arts are very important to our tourism sector and are a growing segment of travel and tourism, especially in rural communities," said Robin Yount, vice president of tourism with the Rockingham County Partnership for Economic & Tourism Development, in a news release. "Rockingham County is fortunate to have the variety of renowned artists and art forms that you will see highlighted in this guide, and we are proud and excited to promote that to the world."
The guide will be available at the Partnership office, 371 N.C. 65, Suite 205, and at various locations throughout the county. For more information, call 342-8138.
