"The Rockingham County Partnership for Economic and Tourism Development is an entrepreneurial organization that actively recruits new industry and business to Rockingham County, assists existing industries and business expansions, and attracts visitors to the area by promoting tourism."

In short, our core mission is to create jobs. In order to accomplish this, we implement program initiatives that will attract new capital, industrial investment, foster quality job creation and increase visitors in Rockingham County.
The Partnership is a public-private entity, which means it is funded by the county and municipal governments as well as private investors. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors that includes representatives from each municipality, the county, public organizations and private companies. Our staff implements the programs and activities approved by the Board to strengthen the future of this community.
