We believe Graham has the right mix of management, administrative, planning and communication skills. Combine that with his personality, experience and ability to lead a very strong staff well-grounded in the technical aspects of economic development, and that provides us with the best opportunity for increasing business investment and jobs in Rockingham County,” said Dave Maner, chair of the Partnership’s Search Committee. “I have enjoyed working with the staff, the Board of Directors, local public officials and the Chambers of Commerce,” said Pervier. “We have an excellent public-private partnership that is committed to bringing good jobs and prosperity to Rockingham County. I'm excited about what we can all accomplish together in the future.” “We have a good record of accomplishment and cooperation and we are well-positioned for the future. However, our competition is fierce and well-funded, and prospects are increasingly more demanding and selective. We need to have buildings, sites and infrastructure ready, and be prepared to make important decisions very quickly. Things we have been doing very well will have to be done with even more energy and determination as we move forward,” Pervier added.
